Long ago, when Villa d’Or reclaimed the old, antique cast iron Dijon staircase, it contained (surprisingly) both turning and straight treads. As the straight treads of the Dijon staircase are
not self-supporting (like the Lille straight staircase), wall brackets (to fix the staircase to a wall) are delivered with.
By combining straight and a turning treads, special configurations can be made like a quarter turn staircase or even more.
